1. Scope and controller
Liberty Education Group LLC is a U.S.-registered independent education consultancy. This policy applies to personal information collected through our public website, secure consultation form, administrator-managed content system, and invitation-only document portal. It does not govern independent websites or systems operated by universities, government agencies, payment providers, or other third parties.
For privacy questions or requests, contact kabin@libertyedugroup.com or WhatsApp +1 (717) 678-4332.
2. Information we collect
Consultation inquiries
We may collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, current country, intended destination, preferred study level, and the message you submit.
Secure student submissions
When Liberty creates a one-time invitation, we may collect your full name, email address, phone number, country, date of birth, preferred contact method, study destination, study level, intake, program interests, notes, and uploaded documents. Depending on what Liberty requests, documents may contain academic records, identity information, English-language test results, application materials, financial evidence, or other records relevant to education counseling.
Parent or guardian information
For students under 18, we may collect a parent or guardian’s name, email address, relationship, and consent. The portal does not accept a submission from a child under 13.
Security and technical information
Our service providers may process device, browser, network, authentication, audit, and diagnostic information needed to operate and defend the service. The current document portal does not use Firebase App Check or reCAPTCHA Enterprise. We do not intentionally use the document portal for advertising profiles.
Website content and media
If you provide testimonials, event photographs, student stories, or other media for publication, we will publish them only with appropriate permission. Public materials may be visible worldwide.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and schedule consultations;
- evaluate a student’s profile and provide requested education-counseling services;
- review documents and help prepare applications when the student requests that service;
- communicate with students, parents, guardians, and authorized institutions;
- administer consent, access invitations, security scanning, records, and retention;
- maintain the website, gallery, certifications, and other authorized public content;
- detect abuse, malware, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
- comply with applicable law, defend legal rights, and maintain business records; and
- improve our services using optional analytics only when consent is granted.
We do not sell student documents. We do not use submitted education records for targeted advertising.
4. Student document portal and consent
The document portal is invitation-only. Before document selection is enabled, the student must review and accept the displayed consent statements, confirm the accuracy of the information, acknowledge that counseling does not guarantee admission, scholarships, or a visa, type the student’s name as an electronic signature, and—when the student is a minor—provide guardian information, guardian consent, and a typed guardian signature.
Each invitation is intended for one student and one submission. Uploaded files first enter a private quarantine area. Automated validation and malware scanning must complete before a file becomes available for administrator review. A rejected or unscanned file is not made available through the CMS. Liberty may request a replacement if a document fails validation.
Please upload only documents specifically requested by Liberty. Redact unrelated data where practical, and do not upload payment-card numbers, account passwords, medical records, or files belonging to another person unless Liberty specifically requests the information and you have lawful authority to provide it.
6. Security safeguards
We use defense-in-depth controls designed to reduce unauthorized access, including restricted administrator accounts, role-based Firebase Security Rules, required multi-factor authentication for the CMS, verified student email/password accounts, one-time invitations bound to the student’s verified email address, private storage paths, file-size and type restrictions, server-side file registration, quarantine, file-signature validation, malware scanning, private downloads, audit events, session timeouts, and scheduled deletion.
No internet service can promise absolute security. Students should use a trusted device and network, protect invitation links, close the browser after submission, and contact us immediately if an invitation is exposed or used unexpectedly.
7. Retention and deletion
Student submissions are configured for deletion approximately 180 days after creation unless Liberty changes the date for a documented legal, contractual, dispute, safeguarding, or active-service reason. Rejected quarantine files are deleted during security processing. The student’s Firebase Authentication account is not automatically deleted when a submission is completed or removed. A student may request account deletion by contacting Liberty at the address below; Liberty may verify the request before deleting the account.
Consultation inquiries are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Public gallery or certification content remains until it is removed or permission is withdrawn, subject to lawful recordkeeping needs. Backup, audit, or security records may remain for a limited additional period according to provider and legal requirements.
You may request deletion sooner. We will assess the request against applicable legal obligations and legitimate recordkeeping needs.
8. Children and minors
Our services are directed to prospective students and families, not to children under 13. The portal blocks submissions indicating the student is under 13. A parent or guardian should contact Liberty directly instead. Students ages 13–17 must provide parent or guardian information and consent before uploading documents. Liberty may request additional verification or decline online collection when appropriate.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about disclosures. You may also have a right to object or complain to a privacy regulator. We will not discriminate against you for making a lawful privacy request.
Send requests to kabin@libertyedugroup.com. Describe the request and the email address used with Liberty. To protect students, we may verify identity and authority before disclosing or deleting records. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority.
You can change optional analytics choices through the cookie-preference control on the Cookie Policy page. Withdrawing consent does not make prior lawful processing invalid and may prevent us from continuing a requested service.
10. International processing
Liberty is based in the United States and serves students internationally. Information may therefore be processed in the United States and other locations used by our service providers or authorized institutions. Privacy protections and government-access rules may differ from those in your country. Where applicable, we will use appropriate contractual, consent, or other lawful safeguards for international transfers.
11. Automated processing
Automated tools may validate file type, file size, document structure, malware indicators, invitation status, and security risk signals. These tools protect the service and route records for human review. Liberty does not use the portal to make a solely automated decision that determines university admission or visa eligibility.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as services, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised, and material changes will be communicated when required. A new consent version may be presented before future document submissions.
